This non-profit agency closed in May 2023 and filed for Chapter 7 Bankrutpcy on 5/24/23.  All employees were let go just prior to the filing of the case.  All Programs administered were either shut down or transitioned to other Non-Profits searving the unhoused or vulnerable populations in Sacramento and San Jaoquin Counties and provided Navigators for people experiencing homelessness to several cities.

If you were served by this agency or one of the programs you may need to reach out to other organizations in the area for help.  Hopefully you have gotten a letter or other commuication from them already if you were in a scattered site shelter or involved in a program SSHH was supporting.  There are a significant number of partner organizatins that are rying to pick up pieces of this large non-profit and provide continuous service to those clients.

Creditors can file claims on the court website www.caeb.uscourts.gov.

The Employees who participated in the 401K plan will be recieving notification of the plan termination and a packet on how to elect roll over to an IRA.  If you are an employee who has a 401K plan question please email [email protected] and I will attempt to get you an answer.
