  • Neither of these documents attached  was prepared by me or anyone in the Bankruptcy Court. 
  • If you or your client sufferred a loss due to the PG&E generated wildfires you will want to familiarize yourself with the documents and the instructions on how to make and support a claim. 
  • The deadline to file a claim has passed, but if a claim was timely made the portal into the Fire Victims Trust site will hold numerous documents I will want produced before deciding whether any of the claim presents a possible asset for the Estate. 
  • Note that the Preliminary pay out taking place in December 2020 is not the final pay out.  The Trustee will expect to see the continued communication with the Debtor/Claimaint untila final settlment amount is known and shared.
  • Recognize when you have a claim and list it on the Schedule B, even if the deadline was missed.  If missed, say so, and value the asset accordingly.  If filed timely, provide a download of the claims filed with the FVT to the Trustee as part of the normal 521 documents.
