In the case of inclement weather (snow storms, etc.) -

If the U.S. Federal Courthouse is closed, the creditors meetings (for Mr. Wood's cases) will not be held.

Pro-Se debtors:  If the local news is reporting that the U.S. Courthouse or all Federal Buildings in Seattle are closed for the day, then your hearing will not be held.  You will need to contact our office within a few days to obtain the new date and time for your hearing.

Debtors represented by attorneys and Debtor attorneys: Attorneys will receive notification electronically from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court if the U.S. Courthouse is closed.  If that happens, attorneys should contact their clients to notify them that they do not need to appear.  Additionally, counsel will be notified by our office of the new date and time for the hearing.  We WILL NOT call debtors who are represented by attorneys to notify them of a new date and time; this is the attorney's responsibility.

Creditors: Creditors are welcome to contact our office to obtain the new date and time for the re-scheduled 341 hearing if it was postponed due to bad weather.  Please wait 24-48 hours to call.  Our office phone number can be found under the contacts tab on this website.
