At Woodruff Law Offices, P.C., I operate a general practice law firm.  Since being admitted to the bar in 1985, I have spent my career helping individuals, families and small businesses throughout Madison County and Central Indiana.  My general practice has consisted of assisting families, individuals and small businesses with a wide range of problems. I have handled personal injury claims, criminal misdemeanors, traffic tickets, uncontested family law problems (divorce and post-divorce cases including establishing and modifying custody, visitation, and child support), juvenile matters, the writing of Wills and administration of Estates, and the formation and advising of corporations and other business entities, among other things.

Currently, my practice consists primarily of estate planning and administration: preparation of powers of attorney, the writing of Wills and administration of Estates. I welcome referrals from other attorneys and existing clients on such matters.

I earned my Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law (Indianapolis) in 1985, and Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University (Bloomington) in 1976.

Since graduating from law school, I have been admitted to practice law in the state courts of Indiana, the federal courts in both the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana and, in 1989, I was admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court.

I have always maintained a private law practice in Madison County, Indiana, and have served as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Panel Trustee for the Southern District of Indiana since 1991.  I have been a Hearing Officer for the Anderson Housing Authority (AHA) since approximately 1992, I was the Chairman of the Town of Edgewood Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) from 2000 to 2010, and I am a former member of the Town of Pendleton Historic Preservation Commission. I am a member of the Madison County Bar Association (Secretary, 1990, Vice-President, 1991, and President, 1992) and Indiana State Bar Association.

I want you to see Woodruff Law Offices, P.C., and me, Randall L. Woodruff, as your lawyer for all your family's estate planning and administration needs; however, your use of my website does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship between us.  I look forward to assisting you, your family or your business with your legal problems and I encourage you to email questions or concerns you may have.  I will respond to your inquiries the next business day or sooner if my schedule permits.  If I am unable to assist you with your problem, I will help you find a lawyer that can, if you wish. You may call the office, 8:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday, to set an appointment for a consultation on any matter.
