Kelly M. Hagan is a trustee in bankruptcy and is licensed to practice in Michigan.  Since 2000, she has focused on representing chapter 7 panel trustees and state court receivers.  In 2004, she was appointed to the panel of chapter 7 trustees in the Western District of Michigan; in addition, she has served as a chapter 11 trustee and liquidating trustee, and administers trusts. 

Ms. Hagan has served as a member of the Board of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, and as its president (2013-2014) and the editor of its quarterly publication, NABTalk (2008-2011).  In 2013, she was appointed to the Merit Selection Panel to assist the Sixth Circuit Judicial Council with recommending candidates to two bankruptcy judgeships in the Western District of Michigan.  She is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law and the University of Michigan.


Penny S. Phillips, trustee assistant, joined the firm in 2014.  She brings with her 11 years of experience in a debtor's attorney office.

Deb Husband, trustee assistant, joined the firm in 2017.  Previously, she managed restaurants and has been busy most recently managing two active sons.
